3D Survey of a family house for a renovation project, Borušov
At the beginning of November, we carried out laser scanning of a small family house in the village of Borušov. The house is located quite far from Prague—on the border between the Pardubice and Olomouc regions. Situated near a forest with dense, tall trees and far from busy roads, it is a building composed of two parts arranged perpendicular to each other. The property has two floors, thick walls, and small cellar spaces.
The measurement of the interior spaces, as well as the façades and roof, was performed using a FARO Premium terrestrial laser scanner and took approximately 3 hours. The total number of scan positions was 116. After processing and registering all scan stations into a single point cloud, the client received the complete point cloud in .rcp format for subsequent CAD/BIM modeling in Revit.
We also prepared an online 3D panoramic tour for the client, which facilitates remote communication between the architect, contractors, and the client during the project.
